Job Description

Strategy & Planning

Provide leadership, direction and management to the overall finance function of the Company, ensuring that the function is properly structured, staffed, trained, developed, motivated, and compensated;

Business partnering with the CEO, Business Heads, and the Group management team to deliver the Company

Lead and manage the business planning, capital and operational budgeting processes; and provide financial analysis for growth strategy, and funding strategy to sustain growth;

Develop performance measures that support the Company's strategic direction and monitor the Company

Evaluate potential investments

Operation (Finance, Accounting, Tax and Treasury)

Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team;

Manage the accounting, finance, procurement, tax, and treasury functions;

Develop/review, update and implement finance and accounting Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with the Group

Effectively deploy and manage strong processes and controls around cash movement and cash deployment;

Key person to liaise with banks and other institutions to find the best solution for our operation in terms of control, effectiveness, and costs of transaction.

Fund Raising

Provide support to the Board of Directors and Group management team in fundraising with international and domestic investors and lenders to ensure the funding needs of the Company according to financial projections are fulfilled in the most cost-efficient way using available money market instruments;

Carry out a proper and continuous analysis of the company

Manage the relationships with local and international lenders;

Manage idle cash via short term investment into liquid and low risk instrument in accordance with the Company

Lead and manage due diligence process as required by investors/lenders

Reporting & Compliance

Maintain a robust financial management and reporting systems for internal and external reporting (including group reporting, investors, Boards, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders);

Ensure the accuracy, reliability and integrity of financial management information systems, data and reports;

Manage and ensure that all group, lenders, and regulatory reporting and compliance obligations are met and adhere to the reporting deadlines;

Review reporting templates and processes, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency;

Manage the external audit process for the Company and provide support for the Group external audit where required;

Lead the implementation of new accounting standards for the Company, in collaboration with Group finance

Financial Risk Management

Implement the Company

Manage and analyze all key financial indicators, and provide recommendations to meet business objectives;

Maintain appropriate insurance coverage;

Ensure that the Company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements;

Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies;

The Successful Applicant

Senior manager with minimum 10 years

Recognized financial institution(s) (listed microfinance/non-banking financial institution is a plus).

Second-tier financial institution.

Recognized Consulting firm (including the big 4) in the financial sector is a plus.

Any other near banking company.

Experience in managing financial and accounting system of companies with large operations and network, entailing complexities in financial control, accounts consolidation and cash management;

Experience in similar positions at company with fast growing business in terms of operations and network.

Working knowledge of the IFRS and Indonesian Accounting standards and practices and their implementation.

Strong understanding of financial and accounting data flow, processes and procedures

Understanding of financial risks of a microfinance institution or a small bank.

Knack for financial modelling, strong skills in spreadsheets and reporting.

Prior experience in audit company is a plus.

Minimum 5 years overseas experience (studying/working)

Leadership & Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.

Detail Oriented, Problem Solving Ability.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ability to work on tight deadlines.

Highest level and proven integrity and work ethic.



MBA or Master equivalent degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus.

Other Credentials are a plus: specialization in Risk Management, Statistics or equivalent, CA/CPA, or Certification in Finance or Accounting from a recognized Institution/Training Institutes
