About Our Client

An Indonesian-based software company with promising business growth is looking to bring on board a seasoned CEO to lead their business in Indonesia. There is also an ambitious plan to expand regionally outside Indonesia. Backed by reputable investors, they believe that their product will revolutionise the way the mining industry operates.

The CEO is expected to grow the business in Indonesia, and to deliver the highest levels of revenue growth through acquisition of new clients.

Job Description

As the CEO, you will not be limited only for the growth of the business, but also in acquiring new clients and partners, and in setting the different milestones for the business. Reporting directly to the commissioner, you will be responsible to lead the whole operations in Indonesia.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Sustaining the operations by identifying new business and generating new opportunities (targeted to energy, mining, and natural resources sectors).
  • Ensuring that the company is set up and operating under the correct law and regulations.
  • Coaching, and ensuring development of the team members (commercial, product, technology, and field technical team).
  • Ensuring that multiple initiatives and strategies are implemented to achieve the most efficient operation in a cost-effective
  • Developing and implementing objectives, strategies, and efficient sales forecasting systems.
  • Establishing systems and procedures for controls and evaluation of the team's performances.
  • Monitoring and ensuring cost effective use of budget funds for overhead, incentive payout, marketing strategies.
  • Ability to develop and build relationship with all stakeholders.
  • Setting the company's vision and strategy and to ensure that these goals are achieved.
  • Providing strong leadership by fostering a warm and positive company culture.
  • Overseeing the P&L of the company and ensuring that the financial health of the company is on track to profitability.
  • Driving innovation and sales by identifying growth opportunities, acquiring new clients, and retaining existing partners.

The Successful Applicant

Our client is looking for a high calibre commercial candidate with an impressive track record in sales, operation, and general management affairs. This role is only open for individuals who has worked is familiar with the targeted sector (mining, energy, and natural resources). Without doubt you must come with an impressive track record of continual delivery and business growth. This will not only involve hitting and exceeding significant revenue targets, but you must also demonstrate the ability to lead.

Other requirements include:

  • At least 15 years of working management experience in the B2B software (SaaS solution industry). If you have experience in the mining and natural resources, it will be highly valued.
  • University degree from reputable universities.
  • At least 8 years in General Management / C-level type of role.
  • Experience working in top MNCs is a must.
  • Excellent communication, and presentation skill in English.
  • Prior working experience covering different areas across Indonesia is a must.
  • Entrepreneur mindset with hands-on and a can-do attitude.
  • Strong ability to set clear measurable objectives, delegate responsibilities, assess, recognise, and reward performance.
  • Strong leadership with excellent influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong management capacity with proven track record in managing regional areas across Indonesia.
  • Proven sales, operational and technical track record.
  • Drive and hunger to achieve results Independent, self-starter and initiative.
  • Excellent business acumen and willingness to work to tight deadlines.
  • Previous responsibility in managing P&L of a set up/market.
