Job Description

As a Business Unit Innovation Director (FMCG), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing new product development and launching strategies to drive sales and customer loyalty.
  • Managing and leading the new product portfolio within the FMCG sector.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products.
  • Conducting market research to identify new opportunities for new product/brand penetration.
  • Overseeing the development of marketing materials for newly launched products.
  • Ensuring the profitability of the product portfolio.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.
  • Implementing quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of products.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Unit Innovation Director (FMCG) should have:

  • Proven 10-15+ years of experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of new product development and marketing.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • A good understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management
