Job Description



  1. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sales, inventory, customer behavior, and other key performance indicators. Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business strategies and decision making.


  2. Business Performance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and evaluate the performance of various retail operations. Identify areas for improvement, develop actionable recommendations, and implement effective solutions.


  3. Forecasting and Planning: Utilize historical data and market trends to forecast future demand, sales, and inventory requirements. Assist in the development of accurate sales forecasts and operational plans.


  4. Reporting: Generate regular reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Present findings in a clear and concise manner, highlighting key findings and recommendations.


  5. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs within the retail operations. Propose and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence.


  6. Market Research: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the retail industry. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and statistical software.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
