Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Development & Account Growth

  • Drive end-to-end sales ownership for banking and financial services clients, with a strong focus on Tier-1, Tier-2, and digital banks across Indonesia.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to penetrate new logos while expanding relationships within existing BFSI clients.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives (CEO, CIO, CTO, CDO, COO) and key decision-makers within banks and financial institutions.
  • Leverage an established executive network to originate opportunities in core banking transformation, surrounding systems, digital channels, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Consistently identify high-impact opportunities aligned with clients' regulatory, operational, and digital transformation agendas.

Solution & Technology-Led Selling

  • Engage customers as a business and technology advisor, with a strong understanding of financial institutions' end-to-end operating and technology landscapes.
  • Articulate and position integrated solutions across:
    • Core banking and surrounding banking systems
    • APIs and integration platforms
    • Cloud platforms, infrastructure, and hybrid architectures
    • Cybersecurity, data, and compliance-related technologies
    • Digital customer experience platforms and channels
  • Collaborate closely with presales, delivery, and partner teams to design and present tailored, value-driven proposals that address business outcomes, not just technology requirements.
  • Understand and position appropriate technology principals and products based on client needs, regulatory environments, and operating models.

Enterprise Deal Leadership & Commercial Ownership

  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from opportunity inception through contract negotiation and closure.
  • Drive commercial strategy, including pricing models, scope definition, and contract structures suitable for large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure delivery commitments are achievable and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Maintain strong deal governance and accurate pipeline forecasting.



Market & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Stay closely connected to Indonesia BFSI market trends, regulatory developments, and digital banking initiatives.
  • Work with technology principals, cloud providers, and ecosystem partners to strengthen joint value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent the organization in strategic meetings, industry forums, and executive briefings with key financial institutions.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience & Background

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, solution selling, or business development within the banking and financial services sector.
  • Strong track record working for a system integrator, technology consulting firm, or major technology vendor serving BFSI clients.
  • Demonstrated success selling large-scale IT modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise platform implementations.
  • Deep familiarity with banking operations and technology stacks, including core banking, channels, middleware, infrastructure, and security.

Executive Network & Market Credibility

  • Well-established C-level relationships across Indonesian banks and financial institutions.
  • Proven ability to initiate and sustain senior-level conversations centered on strategic transformation, not transactional selling.
  • Strong reputation and credibility within the Indonesia BFSI ecosystem.

Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Strong consultative and solution-selling mindset with the ability to connect business objectives to technology outcomes.
  • Comfortable navigating complex organizations and long sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
