Job Description

  • Develop and implement tailored strategic sales plans to meet the specific needs of the region.
  • Identify growth opportunities, adapt strategies to achieve sales targets, and drive business objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing continuous support on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the execution of sales campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities, collaborating with the marketing team for alignment.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and present detailed reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards while monitoring team performance and implementing corrective actions to improve results.



The Successful Applicant

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a sales team effectively.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical products, industry regulations, and the ability to analyse data to derive actionable insights.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
