Job Description

As an Accounting Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and handling tax audits efficiently.
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to support financial decision-making.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Liaising with external auditors and stakeholders to address financial queries.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
