Job Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives and business plans aimed at achieving revenue and profit goals while expanding into key sectors such as Marine and Power Generation in Indonesia. This includes conducting thorough market and competitor analysis, identifying potential partners, assessing product opportunities, and creating actionable strategies for successful implementation.
  • Support the growth of new segments, including non-automotive industries, as well as Performance and Transmission markets.
  • Manage and nurture key account relationships, drive customer acquisition, and oversee ongoing sales activities to maximize business opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed to improve turnover, profitability, pricing, and customer acquisition efforts.
  • Regularly engage with customers, conduct market research, and gather competitive intelligence to uncover growth prospects.
  • Lead initiatives to expand the engine product portfolio, optimize coverage, and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Evaluate sales performance, market trends, and internal reports to continuously enhance business strategies.
  • Ensure effective management of account receivables and facilitate the onboarding of new clients as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address market demands, resolve customer concerns, and manage distributor activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 6-8 years of hands-on sales experience in the engine sector or a comparable industry
  • Demonstrated success in a multinational or corporate setting
  • Strong sales expertise, with proven skills in negotiation, follow-up, deal closure, and a customer-focused approach
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Self-motivated, with a willingness to travel extensively within the country
  • Fluent in both English (written and spoken) and Bahasa
