About Our Client
A global business with a local touch this company is going through a series of transformation projects and is therefore looking for a strong leader to help navigate some of this change. They have invested significantly in both the infrastructure and human resources of their support and commercial functions in order to be a world class outfit in Jakarta. However, they need a strong HR Leader to help drive some of these changes further.
Report directly to President Director locally you will be a strategic business partner who contributes to business planning and strategic discussions by advising on all aspects of human resource. You will lead a relatively small but very capable team for the full spectrum of HR from L&D, OD, Talent (attraction, management and retention) to C&B. A strategic role, you will develop and drive HR strategies in line with business goals to meet the organisation's current & future growth plans. The role will require constant engagement with Senior stakeholders, external partners, managers and staff to create new strategic decisions which further value add to the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
You will be an Indonesian national who has demonstrated strong leadership of a Tier 1 Services business (banking, insurance, professional services or consultancy). You must have worked in a Senior Management role, ideally managed Organisational change, helped build a winning team and implemented people policies which have demonstrably improved a business. This is not a role for water carriers happy with status quo.
Key requirements include:
- MNC experience and ideally overseas exposure through a secondment or having lived abroad and experienced a different environment
- Exposure to working in a high pressured environment, ideally reporting to expatriates
- Experience of implementing change management procedures for a business
- Strong Organisation capability and Design experience
- Ability to make decisions based on business - not likeability
