Indonesia – 21 March 2016: Olly Riches, President Director of PT Michael Page Internasional, Indonesia, has been promoted to the board of managing directors in Asia Pacific for PageGroup. He will continue to report directly to Anthony Thompson, Regional Managing Director, Greater China and South East Asia. With 15 years of experience within the professional recruitment consultancy, Olly has made a significant impact on PageGroup’s businesses, having been based in London, Shanghai, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur and now Jakarta. He will continue to play a pivotal role and be a key member of the Asia Pacific board.
In his last appointment, Olly moved to Indonesia in 2013 and successfully launched and developed the business in the country’s capital, Jakarta. Helping PageGroup to have a physical presence in the emerging market in early 2014, Olly and his management team and consultants have set in place a strong foundation for growth, while striving to deliver quality, expertise and specialism across the industry. He will ensure that the team continues to grow its client base and expand its network of candidates across Indonesia.
Under Olly’s reputable leadership skills and great foresight, PageGroup’s business in Indonesia flourished into a profitable one. With the recent promotions of three managers, Olly and his team will continue to concentrate heavily on the development of a local management group and new disciplines. As the business continues to grow its team of specialist consultants in the country, PT Michael Page Internasional, Indonesia, will be moving to a larger office in Jakarta by the end of May.
“Being an emerging market and the world’s fourth most populated country, Indonesia represents a significant opportunity for our business. As a member of the Asia Pacific board, we believe that Olly will continue his track record of delivering results and developing people, while helping us extend our strong presence in the region. He embraces the PageGroup values and we look forward to further outstanding results for our Indonesia business,” says Anthony Thompson, Regional Managing Director, Greater China and South East Asia.
