A maiden win by George Gandranata, Michael Page's local talent, pulls off a new record for Indonesia

Indonesia, 12 April 2016: The first player from Indonesia to win on the Asian Development Tour (ADT) at the PGM LADA Langkawi Championship on 26 March 2016, George Gandranata sealed the victory with a closing round of 70 to take top position ahead of Malaysia’s number one golfer. 

Michael Page Indonesia has recently announced its sponsorship deal with the Indonesian golf star as part of the group’s ongoing commitment in supporting local talent, helping them advance onto the international stage. The group takes pride in George’s recent achievement and believes that this maiden victory abroad will give him a genuine chance to push towards Rio 2016 Olympic Games’ qualification.

Gandranata, aged 30, turned professional in 2012 and is a member of the Asia Development Tour has moved up to sixth place on the order of merit and into the world’s top 700.
